Is it standard practice for an eBay store designer to require your login & password? I've been approached by this company in the UK Has anyone used them?

I am just in the process of a comprehensive no active content refit on mine not with them, but when I think it was first done they asked for it. They had to do a few bits which they could have got me to do but I guess it depends how comfy you are with them. I was comfy with mine mainly as they were based in Australia and I had phone contact and knew their history and location off of ebay.

Yes it is but be aware that there are changes coming in next year regarding the use of active content so you have to make sure templates etc comply.
We use Frooition who are an eBay certified design provider so they are aware of the requirements of ebay.
