Very few of my pictures of items I am selling here show up
All that is happening is I get the box where the pictures ahould be and the endless circle going around trying to lod them.
I have tried resetting my modem,I have tried another modem,I have tried three seperate computers using chrome, firefox and ie all have the same problem.
No wonder people are not selling anything on here
Some questions
When will this be fixed ? and will we be compensated? We are paying for a service and are not reciving any
Does anyone know a workaround to get this correct again?
I tried to ring but they close at 9pm AEST great if you are in the Eastern States not so good if you are in WA.
I tried to use "live help" but ebay is their wisdom decided to "upgrade" and as such when you click on live help it tells you they have changed and to click on a link....then starts the endless loop of not getting anywhere
An answer by a pink would be nice too to all these questions

Yes, it has been happening to me too for the last few hours. If you have pictures in the body of the listing they can bee seen by your potential buyers.
I doubt that anyone can give you an answer as to how long it might last....have you actually reported the problem to ebay?

It actually seems to be fixed now....I can see all the pictures in your listings.

Go to customer support > Contact eBay > Selling >Technical problems or site issues and then Chat with us.
That will get you to live help, ๐

Hi Tazz
Live Help must be in OZ then as you get that endless loop which results in frustration and is of no help at all.Either that or the live help fell down the rabbit hole never to be heard of again
How will they help us with technical difficulties if they can't even code a simple link to work properly?

Thanks Lyndal appreciate that.Makes me wonder how often this happens though we can't spend our life monitoring our items.

It has been happening more and more on my BIN listings but not on anything listed as an auction! I was uploading items from TL one at a time so I could see at a glance if the pic had worked and if it hadn't revised straight away.
For the last few days I have been using the self hosting option and not had any missing pics since then. Makes it much easier especially with a multi variant listing where all the pics sometimes needed revising.

I tested it last night before posting to make certain it still works and it still works fine for me,:-D

Okay - easy fix for when you get the dreaded 'grey polaroid' photo instead of your gallery picture.
Go to the Site Map link at the bottom of any page.
Look at Selling Activities heading, then 'change my gallery picture'.
Enter the item number you have that has the dodgy photo.
A new screen opens, showing what your gallery image should be.
Click on your gallery photo on that page, then click Change.
You don't have to upload anything or re-do the photos. They are there, just broken.
Click Okay and then you can enter another item number and do the same.
It took about 2 minutes to fix 20 something listings.
Have your Selling page open in the background and just flick between screens to get each item number (cut/paste).
