tippy why did she want private messages. Was her answer one that would be attacked on these boards?

If she is not game to give the answer for everyone to read then maybe it's not the truth.

Lojo, if you are referring to my comment to Eezi about her PM's being read, it is a private matter regarding her account which eBay would never discuss on an open forum. It would breach every privacy act in existence. Most of the regulars here know her situation, but trying to get the issues sorted for her, is not for the public arena.

Brerrabbit the Cart is a very new feature on ebay (only a few years which is new in ebay terms) and has had a lot of glitches since it was implemented.   Some of the glitches have included problems with combining postage especially with overseas transactions.

Many of us avoided using it if possible but that is not going to be possible with this new Immediate Paymment that ebay is pushing.

It may take time but hopefully buyers will work out that the Cart is their friend....as long as ebay can sort out the ongoing glitches.

I very rarely buy just one item at a time so I will have to remember or pay the price of the extra postage.

I've been using the cart exclusively for the past year and haven't had any problems with it.

It's much easier to pay for multiple purchases from different sellers that use the same payment options,(it also

weeds out the sellers that list in other currency's).

It's also easy to use any available coupons.

But I'm only one user and others seem to have problems with it,(as stated by others if members started using it

and found it "glitchy" then they would avoid it).

Selling wise it has always cost me more money in fees then it should due to buyers not being able to combine

purchases,(which suits eBay and no one else as I've always refunded any postage over payments if I can

combine purchases).

I have had no problems with the Cart other than the stated glitch that prevents combined postage discounts from an overseas seller when I buy 3 pocket diaries.  I will be interested to see if it happens again this year.
