ebay has different rules for everyone

Get this, I started talking about a transaction I was having a problem with on this discussion board.

The member I had a problem with has the words : If the successful bidder is within Australia they may ONLY pay with Australia Post money order or direct payment to my bank account (I prefer the latter).

In their descriptions.

I have made multiple complaints to ebay via phone to report this as it is in clear violation to ebay policy.

ebay has thanked me and agreed it was not allowed, especially since the seller also has paypal preferred in their listings.

This is the part that makes me mad, when I discussed the issue on this board, I mentioned the title of one the listings the seller is using, plus the finished price.

ebay has now sent me a letter, telling me they have removed the title and amount as it was "not allowed"

I have checked the sellers listings and they still have the mentioned in their listings.

Can anyone else see why I am frustrated?

You will find that you have tried to take on one of Ebays 'protected sellers' and that means you can complain all you wish but Ebay will never under any circumstance act on it. I have pointed out mant times the blatant and deliberate actions by Ebay who provide different rules for different sellers.

All we can do is prey for a decent and honest website to start up against Ebay. Most would leave this site in a heartbeat is there were some competition.
