ebay is awful

Firstly, what is with them now charging sellers a fee when a buyer doesn’t pay for the item?

Secondly, I need to refund a buyer to combine postage and Ebay doesn’t refund fees on the postage, Ebay tells me to avoid this I should refund postage fee LESS Ebay fee!!!!!

Thirdly, get an Ebay voucher told it wasn’t a single use voucher used half and now it’s all gone! Ebay says sorry you were told the wrong thing but it was single use tough luck!

Beyond dispicable!!!

how ebay sellers support number anymore

just minting money out of everything,

1) you are only charged a fee if you don't let eBay know that the item wasn't paid for

2) No, eBay does refund fees on postage

3) as for the voucher.....what are the T&Cs?

OP, addressing your first point... you won't need to pay the FVF if you cancel the sale with the reason "Buyer hasn't paid".

Quoting:

❝If the buyer still hasn't paid 4 calendar days after the listing ended, you can cancel the order by selecting the Cancel order button below and choosing Buyer hasn't paid in the drop down menu.

If you've sent a combined invoice, you'll be able to cancel the order 4 or more calendar days after the date the invoice was sent to the buyer.

Cancel order

Once you cancel the order, your item will be relisted automatically if it was a single quantity, Buy It Now item, unless you choose not to relist. We'll also remove any Feedback left by the buyer.❞

I'll add that you SHOULD NOT send a reminder invoice. The 4 days will restart if you do, so just let the eBay communication to the buyer do the talking. Four days later, the option to cancel with the "Buyer hasn't paid" reason will appear. Cancel with that reason, and the buyer will receive an invisible NPB strike. Sellers who have their Buyer Requirements set up properly (to excluse buyers who have 2 or more NPB strikes) will be automatically blocking such buyers, so this will hurt the non-paying-bidder/buyer.

If you do not cancel a sale, Fees apply.

If ebay believe a sale was completed off site,  Fees apply.

Offering a discount after buyer has paid, simply make a partial refund and it will be partly funded from ebays fee.

I've never had to pay fees when a Buyer didn't pay.

I've always been refunded fees on postage when I have given a discount for same.

I have never seen a voucher that says "not a single use" did you misread it?

I see nothing, not a thing that could be called "despicable"

I do not understand "how ebay sellers support number anymore"  what does that mean??

"just minting money out of everything"  What does that mean??

Is English your second language??
