Introducing a new fee structure...coming soon .... 😐 .... trust me
on 03-04-2013 09:21 PM
I am having a moment. 🙂
I have over 250 GTC listings, if I keep my current store, a Featured Store. The first 200 CTC listings are FREE. Is this right?
Or only the first 200 new listings are FREE? Meaning you have to do 200 NEW listings each Month.
I suppose what I am asking is are /do GTC listings qualify as FREE listings each Month?
I know by the look of it I am paying 1.5% more in FVF, I just hope GTC listings are FREE.
Cheers.
the "changes" appear to be fluid ..like the help links 😐

10. What impact will this have on Good ‘Til Cancelled listings?
New fees will apply to any listing that is listed or renews from 12.01am on 1 May 2013 (AEDST).
11. How will I know how many of my free listings have been used this month?
You can keep track of your free listings in My eBay, on the ‘All Selling’ page, under ‘Listing Offers’ at the bottom of the page.

mmm a positive thread
That's the way I read it for books and I will be changing back to a basic store as soon as I possibly can.
i read it as "all other bin listings (after first 80) insertion fee is at 0.50 each
im unclear on that
never the less, ebay has brought back my faith in them and will open a basic store after 3 years of closing one, the first 80 freebies is so inviting
and if the insertion fees after 80 are just 0.05c? mann, will load up LOL

Joe, davewil sells books. Insertion fee for store BIN for books is $0,05 each. This change is actually good for book sellers. Book sellers the one had hard time every time store fee changed in past. This must be their time to get some benefit 🙂
Clothing and Jewellery sellers are the one get affected badly this time as FVF will be much higher. That includes me unfortunately 😞

I love you syrups. You understand.

So now I'm confused. Do book listings stay at $0.05 after 80 freebies or do they go to $0.50.
If they go to $0.50, Basic store is not worth it for me, with the number of books I list per month.- though with sales dropping off, I haven't been listing as many - waiting to see if sales pick up.
Any info on this change would be appreciated.

Book (and other media) prices stay at 5c.
For me, a renewed Basic Store will save me $30 per month.
Two clicks got me to this link -

of course syrups, media falls under books and books is what i sell too, thx for clearing that up.
not too keen on the FVF tho, but, will work around it, i have literally thousands of motoring magazines in stock, i can see this new store fee structure working for me.
