I'm getting old and my brain doesn't work well. Not sure if I should go for basic store or featured store. Or just forget about all selling.....
It is a bit complicated - the way to work out which store you'd be better off with after May is to look at your average number of listings, and average dollar value of sales per month, then what kind of FVF they will attract.
Just a quick example
150 listings in Fashion categories (so new, higher FVF), $1000 per month in sales
With a basic store that's $19.95 store fee, + 70 listings x 50c insertion fee ($35.00) + 9.5% of $1000 ($95) = $149.95
With the featured store that's $49.95 store fee, 0 instertion fees (under 200), + 8.5% of $1000 ($85) = $134.95
The differences in month cost will vary according to number of listings, categories and sale value, though.

I am having a moment. ๐
I have over 250 GTC listings, if I keep my current store, a Featured Store. The first 200 CTC listings are FREE. Is this right?
Or only the first 200 new listings are FREE? Meaning you have to do 200 NEW listings each Month.
I suppose what I am asking is are /do GTC listings qualify as FREE listings each Month?
I know by the look of it I am paying 1.5% more in FVF, I just hope GTC listings are FREE.
Cheers.

Good point dickos,
When GTC items relist they do not show up under newly listed as they say it is NOT a new listing.

All it says is 200 free fixed price listings per month. I've taken that to mean any GTC listings that roll-over will qualify, as generally, when GTC listings are excluded from such things (promotions etc), there's a note in minute writing saying 'exclusions apply', which doesn't appear to be the case this time.

So I sell books. If I revert to Basic Store can someone confirm if I have this right:-
$19.95 per month fee
First 80 listings free
All other BIN listings (after first 80) still @ 0.05 each
Free for scheduled listings
9.5% FVF
Any down side to coming off the $49.95 store?
Any help wading through the offer is appreciated. Thanks

Thanks Dave for confirming my thinking - seemed too good to be true - are we missing something?
How do we change back - or will we be getting more emails telling us the ins & outs? & what to do??

19. When will I see the new subscription fees on my seller invoice?
Because eBay invoices subscriptions ahead of time, some current Basic Store Package subscribers will see the new subscription fee on their invoice pro-rated from the middle of April.
If you change your Store Package during the following month, your invoice will be adjusted accordingly.
15. How do I subscribe to an eBay Store, downgrade or upgrade my eBay Stores subscription?
You can subscribe, upgrade or downgrade your current Store subscription under 'Manage My Store' in the Account tab in My eBay.
As long as youโve had a store for more than a month you can downgrade (or upgrade) and your fees will be pro-rated. For example if you currently have an Anchor Store Package and you wish to change to a Featured Store Package (or vice versa) , the fees will be pro-rated according to the number of days within the month you had each store.
If you have a new Store Package, the fees are slightly different; subscriptions cancelled or downgraded within the first 30 days are billed for the entire 30-day period. Cancellations or changes to Store Level after the first 30 days are pro-rated.
To change the level of your Store Package by going to My eBay > Accounts > Subscriptions and then selecting โChange levelโ.
19. When will I see the new subscription fees on my seller invoice?
Because eBay invoices subscriptions ahead of time, some current Basic Store Package subscribers will see the new subscription fee on their invoice pro-rated from the middle of April.
