free listings v 40 a month

so when we are lucky to qualify for a promo on free list, I had the 40 free non shop a month regardless and recently the 100 free till 6 jan.

I've had the same issue a few times now.  not having used my 40 free a month so attempted to use them up by the end of dec, but instead it deducted them from the up to 6 jan promo and come 1 jan I lost the lot........(yes I know you get 40 more in jan - thats 1. something a day).

My Q is is there a way to use out of the 40 free allocation rather than the promo that runs into the next time period or vis a vis ? thanks

Not as far as I know - the promo listings are always used first and I've never seen (or heard of) an option to choose or change which are used first. It usually works to an advantage as most of the time (at least in my experience) the promos are earlier on in the month so you can use them first and still have the standard 40 once they're used or expired.

You got 100 over 11 days, plus your default 40 for this month won't kick in until the 7th. Mean9ng you can utilise them over 25 instead of 31 days. How are you missing out?

The way around it would have been to not accept the offer for 100 until you had used up your December 40.

But you are still in front vis a vis not getting the 100 free.

Vis a vis means  - roughly - 'as opposed or compared to'

yep absolutely right if I'd thought about i shouldn't have accepted the deal until after I'd used up the dec 40 listings.

the jan 40 kick in 1 of jan not after the 7th..  I was trying to say vica versa or however you spell it

The January 40 won't kick in until you use up the 100 or the 7th, whichever comes first.

I'm still running on the Dec-Jan 100.

Maybe you've used that 100? In which case, obviously, the standard freebies then kick in.

You will lose the Dec. 40 freebies if they where not used by the end of the month. I used the 100 up ( they went first ) and still had a few of my 40 Dec. freebies left after the 100. I made sure these where used up by the end of the month ( Dec ) and now have my 40 Jan, freebies. Just out of intrest I put 7-10 day auctions on ( normally run 3 days ) and they went a lot better than I ever expected for this time of year. Several new buyers and plenty of overseas intrest. The items where just some leftovers that I would not spend $1.50 listing and ended up recieving a few nice suprises.
