You could also always do it the old fashioned way and just copy/paste the URL to a Facebook post, the link is exactly the same as when using a share button function thingy, with thumbnails etc

But same-screen, two-click postings are nifty.

Thanks for the replies.  i'll follow it up.  But this all started originally because on Ebay there was a promotional graphic for linking to Facebook.  It was on the Ebay selling page. It was shown as an Ebay selling tool,  an easy (?)  link to put the item on Facebook.   But I haven't seen it since.  Anyway, thanks again.
