From memory Ebay dont want FLASH as most Iphones/Ipads cannot show the content anyway.

I believe they blocked FLAS a while ago.

I just asked chat support and they said it was possible but were reluctant to give me a exact html code that will make it work.

That being said I beg of any kind person who knows how to insert a .SWF banner or flash object into ebay succesfuly to share there insights.

Best Regards

My tech dept (aka hubby) says you should sign up for an ebay developers account.
You can then get onto the forums there and get some relevant advice.
There aren't too many programmers on these forums.

Take note of what was said earlier about mobile though.
Whatever you do you should check the result via the mobile app.

Good luck!

eBay's HTML & JavaScript policy (doesn't seem to exclude flash, but if your item is prohibited, it will automatically be stripped with an error message): http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/listing-javascript.html

Some other info you may find useful (not all that well versed in this stuff, myself, but it's from 2013 and written by ShipScript, who are pretty knowledgeable, so should be relevant): http://www.ebay.com/gds/Auction-Template-Help-Add-Video-or-Sound-to-Auctions-/10000000000109259/g.ht...

looks like a SWF to gif conversion will have to do and no moving objects just still slides. Ah well better then a static image i supppose.

For whom?

I for one am not a fan of moving stuff. It adds to download times, uses up bandwidth, and doesn't add anything to the pertinent facts, imo.
