i have an item ready to be picked up [by the way this is 100% true if someone can help me download the picture here on this post i will] i have a chicken on my roof ,its been there for nearly 3 weeks , there is a large tree at the front of my house hanging over the front of my roof, cant catch the chicken which we have free to a good home .found a person who has a small farm with chickens ready to take it there . but i cant get the chicken on the ground so that i can put it in a large box for transport. any ideas.
by the way i feed it everyday with a bowl of food and water . even my cat has been on the roof and this chicken is too smart , even pidgeons go up to his food ,and the chicken chases it.
thank you if you can help
ps i have a good exuse if i get a defect to ebay if i cant deliver on time lol.

As rose said.
Stop feeding them. They will go and sponge off somebody else.
If your missus won't even eat the eggs (why? they are free range and without a rooster aren't going to produce more chooks) then you are simply building their dependence on you. AND WILL NEVER LEAVE!

mmmm do you have possums or birds ever come to your house , whats the diffrence, also these chickens dont let you get a meter away from you.
so you want me to break into a dentist place , should i wear a chicken mask or wear a superman outfit in the middle of the night on a main street and after a whie a police car comes up , and asks me what are you up to , and i say trying to catch a chicken called chong, do you think they are going to believe me. or take me to the nutty bin..
a chicken is a bird , only a dog has to have a leash on the street cats and birds dont .

lol dave
what came first the chicken or the egg, well we know the chicken.
what came first the chicken or the feed well we know the chicken.
if we did not feed the chicken it woud still be on the roof it was up there for weeks. but when it came down i had a plan to catch it then the other chicken came on the scene.
now how can i win against 1 female let alone 2 females+ the missus

Doubtful. If it could con somebody into feeding it. YOU were hand delivering food and water to it on the roof. Why would it go elsewhere when it had already found the perfect mug?
