lately i seem to have had a few bidders who ignore my invoices and only pay when ebay do the "unpaid item" thingy, my question being, what kind of feedback should i leave? do i comment re unpaid item only way i got paid? or should i just leave no feedback at all?

If they have taken a long time to pay, i will say -( Payment received, thanks.) It's just basic, no glowing report.

We have a lot of repeat buyers and the quickest way for them to find us is by clicking on our feedback left for them. All buyers who pay are welcome back, it's the non-payers who click Buy Now and then make no contact whatsover that aren't.
We leave feedback as soon as the item is posted and use the same comment for all feedback regardless of when they paid. ๐

don't shoot yourself in the foot - it is against ebay policy to leave a false positive feedback for a buyer.
I would leave no feedback. If you are very unhappy with the buyer, add them to your blocked buyer list.

I do a similar thing, especially if they haven't left feedback for me yet. If I wrote something unpleasant, they're just as likely to neg you and trash your stars.
I think at the end of the day, as long as they pay, that's all that matters. If they need a rocket put up them to pay, so be it. Sometimes if they bid early, they might forget that they have even bid and not everyone checks eBay or their email every day, especially if they're really casual buyers. If they don't pay and the unpaid dispute closes, don't leave any feedback at all because it can get you in trouble.
I had one non payer a few months ago who messaged me 2 weeks after I closed the case wanting to buy the item he didn't pay for. He went away camping and didn't realise until he got there he had no phone reception. I thought about unblocking him, but he was one of those buyers that feels the need to leave a negative because the sky was a different shade of blue today compared to yesterday. I copped a face full of abuse, so I was glad I stuck to my guns.

I don't care how or when a buyer pays as long as payment is made and would not dream of letting when they paid impact on any feedback I would or would not leave.

If you can't think of anything compimentary perhaps leave no feedback at all.
