I bought two tickets to see the ice hockey at Allphones arena. They wouldnt scan and when we went to the ticket centre the lady said they had been cancelled because they were advertised on Ebay. The lady we bought them from went and showed them her receipt and still no luck.We missed out. They go through Ebay and look for ticket numbers on photos and cancel them. So Beware.

Ticket scalpers make it so damned hard for the rest of us to go to concerts- they are a real pest!
If you MUST buy tickets on ebay- NEVER purchase ones that have the exact seat numbers displayed or the exact ticket pictured, for that very reason you have now discovered. ๐
Me thinks there is going to be an awful lot of disappointed fans when it comes to Pinks concert tour in the not to distant future, and lots of negs will be bandied about ๐

I understand your frustration but I think it's better that tickets do get cancelled so people will stop buying them, so only people that want to go to sports, concerts etc are the ones buying the tickets. Not people trying to make a profit out of something they don't deserve to.

Except for certain events and the locations the onselling of tickets is NOT illegal.
If a seller sets the starting price at the face value of the ticket/s it is not their fault if buyers run it up to a ridiculous amount. The same can also be said about sellers that do set the price way above face value...they are not holding a gun to the buyers heads.
Tickets are the same as any other item on ebay...they will only sell for what a buyer is willing to pay.
If people really want to go to these events then they should get themselves on the ticket sellers mailing lists that way they can purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public.

come on It's not there fault that the auction price goes above:^O
I am on the ticket sales mailing list and 3 of us were on different computers trying to get pink tickets.
Now I am seeing sellers selling multiple tickets for multiple dates, and the difference is that the tickets are bought from these sellers with the provision that they are not sold above the ticket price which is why they can be cancelled.

Maybe ebay should not allow them to be sold above ticket price

eBay should not allow them to be sold at all.
Those wanting to go to a show or concert, should buy them in the appropriate place. Scalpers are the worst!

It would be quicker for someone to SUPPLY that information...waaayyyy quicker than searching (remember, time is of the essence in a situation like this).
