is everyone getting annoying every five seconds some pop ups as they list or relist or use ebay?

I was on modzilla, now I am on chrome... it happens every time I loggin...

The adverts are the same as what I am listing... if I sell a dvd, then ads for dvds come up...

they flash on so I cant do my work. 

Is this an ebay thing? Any ideas?

I never had this before about two weeks ago.

Sounds like something you have accidently downloaded onto your computer, nothing to do with Ebay.

If there is a hint of what program is causing it on the ads somewhere you can Google how to get rid of it. They are usually easy to get rid of.

thanks. tried that...  once there I didnt know where to go to get answers as some sites dont have any contact except a phone call to the US if you are lucky. I will try again. I cant find anything in my downloads. Its insidious.

You probably won't find it in your downloads. Look at the ad and see if there is little writing on it (usually at the bottom) that might point to where it comes from. if you see a name on it tell us what it is and I might be able to point you to a fix.

I'm assuming you have an ad and popup blocker?

Sounds like malware to me.

I would do a virus and malware scan.

I Use 2 different Programs.. 1 Uninstall Tool I run this first go through the Programs that have been installed. It also informs me of the new Programs that were installed. When I browse through any thing I dont use I Unstall it. If I am in doubt I leave it and do a Google search to see what it is, then if I know I dont use ir I will Uninstall it.. DO NOT UNINSTALL ANYTHING FROM MICROSOFT. After I unstall the programs I use CCleaner DO a complete scan and it will clean up your drive then within CCleaned I scan the registery and fix all errors and I do not have any Problems .
