iHi - ;'m a non store seller having used all my free listings and the last promo.
so I'm wondering is it better to list now and pay $1.50 an item whether it sells or not? (currently easter and school hols so sales are very slow)
or list on or after 6 may and not pay the $1.50 assuming there'll be more free listings but also (pay paypal fees) & pay the extra 10% on post.
the only thing I have decided re this new release announcement is I won't be offering to post heavy items overseas anymore.

Yes. mags must be the only seller unable to get it.

dave, I contacted cust. help - their responses were:
In eBay, this option applies when you are a first time seller, one who has not yet listed more than 10 listings, not a business or high volume seller and is not listing a multi quantity listing. or
There are actually instances that if a seller has not listed for quite a long time and seem to just have listed recently, they will be considered as a casual seller.
so I'm not being thick!

I get it on my book listings, but not the others.

I can in no way be considered a new seller, so I don't know that that applies. Equally anyway.

yeh well we all know epay are not good at being consistent (its mags here)
they did also say when I queried it
"There are actually instances that if a seller has not listed for quite a long time and seem to just have listed recently, they will be considered as a casual seller"

I consistently list, so like I said, I have no further idea.
Did you try editing straight after listing?

I'm not new and I'm not casual.
I listed 220 things across three accounts last night and all of those came with the three relists.
Maybe it's just for new listings?
Don't know, never thought about it when I did a bulk manual relist a few days ago, so don't know if it was an option.
The ones I did last night, I got a pop up telling me about it and the box was already checked, it was an opt out kind of thing, rather than opt in.
