is there a bad buyers list so we can block them for clothing sellers aus before new policy

I know on facebook there is block buyers list in the US, is there one similiar in Aus for clothing sellers. I just think with this ridiculous money back guarantee coming in some  warning on dodge buyers from sellers would be mighty useful? Or can sellers email other sellers with names, I am certainly happy to have those names. Just a thought, but I have not been selling clothing for long and have had some real doozies, eg more yellow green than blue green I want my money back.

No.

All you can do is set blocs for the common issues.

There is an Australian powersellers facebook page where some level of information is shared.

Not sure of other pages.  I can't imagine that some have not given it shot.

IMO good idea to start and/or promote within the rules a page dedicated to creating a safer trading space for sellers in the context of the recent policy changes.

You have possibly left yourself open to problems with a couple of things in the 3 listings i looked at.

The Esprit dress pic 6 is too dark to show the damage.you mention fade & I'm not sure if the dark pic 4 is showing a band of fade across the front. You can lighten dark pics with the listing thingy while downloading the pics if they are too dark to show detail.

The Bardot dress has a stain that you might want to try to remove as eBay's clothing policy is meant to have a ban against stained clothing.

I saw a few listings mentioning "may have pulled threads" I think this will leave you vulnerable to negs/low DSR under the defect system, even though you mention they may be there.

To cover yourself you might have clear pics of any flaws with a tapemeasure next to them.Gives a buyer full disclosure & may save you from certain buyers getting freebies from you.

I may as well shut up shop then all second clothing has damage in some form or another thats why its cheap.  Ebay should only then allow new clothing, oh well back to the markets.

That is just not right....not all used clothing has damage.   I have bought a lot of used clothing over the years and only one item had a small discoloured mark.  When the seller discovered it she sent it to me anyway but refunded the full cost of the item.  It was not very noticeable and it was going to be worn for gardening anyway.

If an item of clothing has any damage noted in the description I just don't buy it and there is no shortage of pre-owned clothing that is faultless and cheap.

No I agree most second hand clothing is fine and good but you are are a nice reasonable intelligent honest person. What I meant to say is that immediately when you sell any second hand item the new policy puts you at risk for false allegations. I just don't think it is safe to sell second hand goods on ebay anymore, not matter how honest you are. No sageguards for seller, this has just opened a can of worms for dishonest buyers. I am just looking for a list to ban them before they strike. Eg I washed this item it shrunk I want my mone back.....It was a dry clean only garment...

The point of my post was not to deter you from selling second hand clothes but to tell you that there are a few things you might want to tighten up on to protect yourself. After this month the buyer can get refunds or complain about even NWT items so not much is safe really.

Also your listings say something about only posting to Aus but if you have not ticked the locations in Buyer Requirements in your settings then you may get yourself an O.S buyer. You will not be covered for cancelling if you just say it in your listing but don't block in the settings.

Just my opinion but the things i mentioned could leave you open to low DSR etc.Right now you seem to have great volume sales so there is no reason to panic & stop selling clothes. It's doing well for you so just tweak it a bit.Have you checked your Seler Dashboard to check for defects from low DSR? I'm only stopping at the end of the month because of my listing visibility being reduced thus less/no sales or i would just work on a plan for the new return system.

Thanks I really appreciate your opinion,  this taxable abn registered business so fully above board business is still in a learning curve for me, it has been something that has happened unexpectedly but I don't have much experience as yet, each day I learn something new,  so I appreciate your help,  I thought my box for postage says Australia only? I have just registered for a market stall  so I will see how that goes. Just don't know about ebay anymore,  have lost my confidence.

Your sales numbers alone should give you confidence that you are doing something right & it's working well for you Smiley Happy

350+ sales in a month is a lot & also a lot of work.Would be a shame if you stopped when it's paying off for you.
