item not received a few months ago

We have a customer that has said they have not received their item that we posted on the 21st of January, and they just informed us of that today (12th of April). As it has been several months, are we obligated to do anything? Thankyou kindly. Sara

10 weeks isn't exactly several months

I think its up to you to follow this up with AP to find out where the buyers item is

Was it sent overseas? One time I sent a couple of CDs to Italy by registered airmail and it took about four months for them to arrive to the buyer. It had been sitting at the Italian post office for most of the 'transit' time.

In the meantime the buyer started multiple paypal disputes against me and slandered my name on forums.

He apologized when they finally turned up, but.... well, I don't post to Italy any more.
