Your item only sold yesterday so as it is the weekend the buyer may not even be on the computer. Just give the buyer a few more days and if you haven't heard from them after 4 days you can lodge an Unpaid Item dispute.

You should also remove the listing where you have relisted your item until you know for sure whether the buyer is going to pay or not.

Why did you relist the item less than 24 hours after it sold? If someone else comes along now and buys it, then the other buyer pays for it, you're going to end up with one unhappy buyer. That buyer will more than likely give you negative feedback. With only having 3 feedback, 1 negative will stop you selling for the next 12 months.

Do yourself a favour and end the listing. If you wanted immediate payment, you should have set the listing up that way. As it's a pick up item, chances are the buyer will want to inspect it and then pay cash. Better for both of you. If the buyer doesn't make contact by mid week, open a non payment dispute. You can close that 4 days later to get your fees back. Only then can you relist the item.

You sold the item yesterday an you expect you would have been paid already?

I think you need to read up on how ebay works before you try to sell anything else

It sounds as if you expect that everyone has instant access to ebay, via  phone or whatever.

Not so.

This is a very annoying habit some people are getting into, expecting everyone else to be soldered to the internet 24/7

There are plenty of people (well, some)  like myself who only go on the internet on a computer.

So if, for example, I had been your buyer, I would not even see your messages till I got home and logged on. Or maybe not till the next morning.

At a minimum, unless you have set your listing up with Immediate Payment, payment only needs to be made within 4 days before you can even think about opening an Unpaid Item Dispute.

Give your buyer a chance to make contact, arrange a time to inspect and pay before you jump the gun.

What happens if that item now sells again and the first buyer pays for it later this evening?

You'll have one very angry first buyer and a great big neg and trashed DSR's becuase you haven't bothered to find out how Ebay works.

Sheesh

If the OP expects her buyer to be online 24/7, I wonder then why she isn't online 24/7 and been back here to follow any advice? Item still listed. I can see this ending badly for them. We tried.

I notice she accepts COD, I might buy it and get it sent interstate. It's not just an ooops with the postage section, she even mentions in the description that she prefers COD. That must mean she's willing to ship it interstate.

The seller will probably be back when they find out that if the buyer pays by Paypal they'll have a 21 day hold on the money.

Either way this isn't going to end well IMHO.
