Anyone who bets against you is crazy!
I actually just clicked on this thread to say that it sold a second time. Awkward.
I'll bet that she gets negged then comes back whinging about it.

Maybe take some of eBay's advice and relist as a 99c auction.................only 10cents in fees then.

Oh dear.
I went in to have a look as I was curious.
All I can say is I hope buyer #2 was in touch immediately, as in an hour of the end, so that diadiamas doesn't get time to hyperventilate, and that buyer #1 is one of the bid and forget about it variety.
If the seller has not heard at all from the first buyer by now, then that is very possible as I find bigger pick up items are a bit prone to this.
Edit: Was this a buy it now sale? The reason I ask is the selling price was the same for both which made me wonder.
If so, then it would be unusual for buyer 1 not to have been in touch pretty well immediately as they would know they had bought it.
If it was just an auction with only one bidder, then there could be a lag between winning & logging on to find that out.

When she re-lists it for a THIRD time, I bid two bits
We have to share one table among three of us,so it's a fair price for what is essentially a time share table

I think she expected buyer 1 to be in touch before it had even been listed. Kind of reminds me of those buyers who send a message an hour after purchase wanting to know why they haven't received their item yet.

The sad thing is we might never know how all this ended.
diadiamas might expect others to be online and viewing messages instantly but I am not sure if he/she has been back on here at all to check.

I pretty much said that in my first reply and still no comment from the OP. One has to wonder why someone posts a message and then never comes back to see a reply. Maybe they thought they were talking to eBay and did a runner when they realised they weren't.
I too would love to know how it ends. Obviously only one buyer can take it. Even if the first buyer never makes contact, she'll still be hit with the fees for the transaction. Maybe that's when we'll see the OP back, when they get their eBay bill, wondering why they have been charged so much.
As I said earlier, we tried. That's all we can do. We can't hold a gun to anyone's head. We can't force them to take the advice of experienced sellers. At the end of the day, they'll do whatever they want to do.
