who's idea was it to put links to other items directly underneath the main photo of an item listed for sale. it draws attention away from the actual item being sold. we sellers pay over 10% fees to sell our products - we don't need detrimental advertising!!!!!!!

yes another not very well thought out idea from ebay in an attempt to get more money regardless of the affect it has on sellers or their own profit margin. Are they really earning more than 12,5% from the sales that may occur when people click away from ebay through these ads? what about the long term affect when that buyer prefers to do alot of their future shopping at the other marketplace they found through ebays advertising instead.
so ebay have potentially generated huges losses of long term sales within ebay for the chance at immediate small time profits from some advertising.

Well......
from some of the links I have explored, out of curiosity, then googled their reviews, I would expect a lot of buyers might be once bitten twice shy on the overseas ads (predominantly China), and at first glance you do not necessarily know where they are located, either.
