That's their right, and I do it all the time. As a seller, all you can do is use BIN or make sure your opening price in an auction is enough to make the sale worthwhile.

At this time of year, people need to make their money go as far as it can!

I don't care when they bid as long as somebody does! I never list at any price less than I am happy to sell it for so am not disappointed if it only gets one bid, if it gets more it is a bonus.

That's right that's what I do if I am buying for fun not need.
If u are worried the price will be to low it's best to start with a higher auction price or BIN price
