managed payments any positive experiences

Been selling an ebay for 20 years and never posted here, but it's time to get some community feedback.  Is any seller on here on managed payments able to tell me they are better off, the fees are lower, etc.   I hesitate to post this, as I don't need to be bombarded with all the negative opions.  Just hoping there is at least 1 seller saying managed payments is good.

When did you start MP?

Around the 2nd of March. You can see in my screen shot that I got an Aus Post discount, because an $8.95 box cost me $8.65 on the 1/3/2021.

But on the 8th of March, it jumped to $9.15, as discounts were apparently only available through Aus Post directly, which I'm yet to see.

Are you clicking "print postage label" on ebay?

If so, you are purchasing postage through eBay and can print the label directly - you don't need to go through My Post, as this option purchases a postage-paid label through eBay.

If you'd bought and used labels through My Post for those, I would try to cancel as many of the eBay ones as you can.

I have clicked print postage label, but only to see what the postage costs are and if Sendle were cheaper for some items, As sometimes they are and now I have no insight as to what the options for postage costs are if I don't use the eBay shipping calculator. But at the end I don't actually print the label or pay for it when it says you are purchasing a postage label. I stop there. So i shouldn't get charged a shipping cost just by clicking on "print postage label" should I?

Plus it says "Ad Fee". Am i supposed to be getting those as well, or only FVF?

If you click print postage label then you have generated a label even if you don't print it.

But clicking print postage label only brings up the screen that allows me to enter weight and dimensions. After I've done that, it says purchase label, at which I stop. How can they charge me, when I haven't selected yes, purchase a label?

So to find out what Sendle costs are, I'd need to go to their website and plug in the details?

I don't know what ad fee is - but what you have shown is that you have definitely been charged with postage labels through ebay - so if you didn't use them and went through Aust Post instead, get onto ebay  today and arrange for money back - in fact there might be a drop down menu where you can request a refund next to "manage my labels'

You only have a very limited time to do this otherwise you lose your money

And the 500g parcel rate went up to $9.15 on 1 March.

So you don't see "Ad fee" on your invoice?

Regarding the 500g parcel cost, I must have printed that one minutes before it changed over perhaps. Because you can see on the screenshot I provided,, I was only charged $8.65 for postage on 1 March.

Something went wrong because you were charged for the labels

Ok, Googie says it's for promoted listings. So that one is solved.
