managed payments any positive experiences

Been selling an ebay for 20 years and never posted here, but it's time to get some community feedback.  Is any seller on here on managed payments able to tell me they are better off, the fees are lower, etc.   I hesitate to post this, as I don't need to be bombarded with all the negative opions.  Just hoping there is at least 1 seller saying managed payments is good.

I'm yet to see too much benefit. It now takes me longer with orders due to going through MyPost and things taking longer there than on eBay. I'm a bit confused about the whole thing, to be honest.

Because looking at my invoice, absolutely nothing has changed. The only thing that has changed is, I get money into my bank account instead of Paypal.

All costs are the same. And I thought that since I have to pay for shipping labels now direct to Aus Post, that I wouldn't get charged shipping fees by eBay. But no, for every transaction not only does eBay charge me for the postage, but I have to pay the postage. So postage is effectively double now.

And contrary to discounts on MyPost Business, I have not received any postage discounts despite sending 10 things just this morning.

When it was all through eBay, they absorbed the cost of the postage and billed me for it. The cost of printing the label in eBay was $0.00. But now they continue to bill me for it, PLUS I pay for postage through Aus Post. Something seems to be wrong with either something I'm doing or with what eBay is doing.

Looking at my eBay invoice. I get An Ad fee, a final evaluation fee and postage fees. So no different.

So are you saying that there's no more cash on pick up available when you list as pick up only?

Local pick up is usually paid for in cash once the buyer has sighted and agreed to purchase the item, Paypal or Adyen shoouldn't come into it unless this has changed with MP's ?.

It's free to place a listing and you don't get charged double postage but you get charged a FVF on postage and sales plus 10% GST on top of the fees.

Unless you're a business and have provided ebay with your ABN the you get exempt from GST

Ok, then why does my invoice show I get charged an ad fee, plus postage? Then have to pay postage through MyPost? If eBay are charging me for postage, plus I pay Aus Post, then I'm paying double postage.

How is ebay charging you for postage if you purchase it from AP?

MP you get 250 000 free listings per month so why are you getting charged?

Are you sure you're not mistaking your store fees for listing fees?

I don't know, but on my invoice, there are postage charges. Tell me if you are not seeing what I am seeing. My listings are set to buyer pays. So as far as I am concerned, eBay should be only concerned about picking up their money and charging me eBay fees. Not postage. That is my problem to work out elsewhere.

Are you clicking "print postage label" on ebay?

If so, you are purchasing postage through eBay and can print the label directly - you don't need to go through My Post, as this option purchases a postage-paid label through eBay.

If you'd bought and used labels through My Post for those, I would try to cancel as many of the eBay ones as you can.

I have clicked print postage label, but only to see what the postage costs are and if Sendle were cheaper for some items, As sometimes they are and now I have no insight as to what the options for postage costs are if I don't use the eBay shipping calculator. But at the end I don't actually print the label or pay for it when it says you are purchasing a postage label. I stop there. So i shouldn't get charged a shipping cost just by clicking on "print postage label" should I?

Plus it says "Ad Fee". Am i supposed to be getting those as well, or only FVF?
