marking an item paid when paid by cash

HI Just sold an item and it was cash on collection. that went fine, now with the new website I cant see how to mark the item as paid and I dont want my buyer being hassled by reminders to pay when they already have. Any help appreciated

The BUYER now has to mark as payment completed before the seller can do so....go figure

terrific and what if they haven't paid? these new arrangements don't seem to be that seller friendly (:
