Any one can pick up a blank card/ voucher, and list it, and disappear after selling a hand full... shame ebay for allowing the hoop hole.
Ebay does make it plain that there is no buyer protection when you pay for these items through paypal. The listing and payment details make no mention of buyer protection and the paypal TOS state that they are not covered.
Previously this type of listing specifically stated No Paypal Protection but that has been left off that listing.....there is just no mention of protection.
What I do see is the message about the ebay money back guarantee for items Not As Described. If I got an empty card I would try that option....it is not a paypal dispute as such....it would be worth a try.

Strange how the high bid of $520 went in only today, and was retracted a half hour later? My suspicious mind suggests a shill bid.
Oh, naughty me for thinking such an evil thought!

231405229722and why on earth would people pay more than a card is worth?
My OH often gets gift cards as gifts from customers. Many are for stores we do not shop at but usually one or other of my daughters can use them. If they were not around I would try and sell them.

Have a closer look as that bidder has retracted their bid on all 3 cards the seller has for auction, this is 100% a scam

If that's not shill bidding, I'll bare my b^m in Bourke St!
No word back from the seller yet, either. How surprising! However, I'm sure ebay will intervene as soon as they realise what's going on...NOT!
With every sale equating to dollars in shareholders pockets, I'm certainly not going to hold my breath waiting for ebay to act.

Given how many reported listings eBay have removed in the last 24 hours, if you suspect it's fradulent or there is shill bidding involved, report the listing.

Did you happen to check the seller's feedback, Lyndal?
This is the 8th $500 Coles/Myer card she's sold in less than 12 months.
