is there a limit to how many ebay id's you can have?
I know that you need to have a new email address for each one but if you had 100 email addresses could you possibly have 100 IDs or does ebay limit it to a certain number per person/family/residence etc?

simple question k1ooo is going in circles from cameras to camera parts and bla bla. all i am saying why does he need 2 ids when 1 shoud do it, now he says you cant buy and sell on 1 id whithout your product being private, but he does buy and sell on 1 id.

@joethenuts wrote:fair enough lol. when you wake up ,after your nap, you say you buy camera accesaries on k1ooo but sell them on lets say id k2ooo
so is the stock you buy private, and do you sell on k1000 for other things.
Joe if he buys camera accessories PRIVATELY using the k1ooo ID then he cannot sell ANYTHING on that ID.

What K1ooo actualy said was I buy cameras on another ID that I sell on this ID. (k1ooo) So clearly it is the other ID that is private.
He also said that he value adds to the cameras before selling them on, so I presume that's what the accesories are for.
If the accessories are for value adding to the cameras and not for onselling as accessories, then there is no neccessity to buy them privately,
Therefore, while the ID on which he is buying the cameras is private, the ID on which he is buying the accessories does not need to be private.

Joe! Did you look on that 'other site' without permission?

The k1ooo ID that is being used here is NOT private Joe. You can see all the feedback that he has received as a buyer and a seller.

@joethenuts wrote:only opions have been said on here , not 1 good answere i am still waiting why you would need more than 1 id,
I have a buying and selling ID, both active and used almost exclusively for those activities separately (I have sold on this ID in the past, and I will use my selling ID to buy if I get an offer with the condition my eBay and PayPal registered email addresses have to be the same, as that is only the case on the selling ID).
Anyway, while there are a lot of reasons I choose to have two, one reason I think-hope you'll understand is that I have no desire for any of my buyers to explore my personal and/or business history as a buyer. Just like I wouldn't post a list of all the things I buy if I had a physical store - I mean really, would you put up signs in your paint shop saying "I shop at Coles, for further info see attached receipt from last weeks grocery shopping" ?
This choice was made back before eBay disguised purchases on FB profiles, but they still display (and link to) seller IDs.
Not to mention it makes my bookkeeping easier, to have personal and business activities separated.
