Why do so many buyers wait 3-4 days to pay for something (by Paypal) that costs $1.50?
Waiting til payday? lol Drives me nuts!

*soz no idea what to say to this, just bizarro*
of course not.
you expect others to read your mind and understand from your listing terms that you do not really mean Paypal or Direct deposit within three days ONLY.
problem expressed = Why do so many buyers wait 3-4 days to pay for something (by Paypal) that costs $1.50?
Mate... cause you told them in the listing that it was ok to pay within 3 days - and on top of that eBay gives em 4.
double lol (lollol) and you have a choice to list with immeadiate payment required ...

Good lord... relax. This is not a personal thing against you... suprisingly.
I dont actually have issue with the time they take to pay.
I was musing that people take so long to pay for a $1.50 item, and why, or what might be on their minds when doing so. Thats it.
If I was serious about the time line, or that it was actually getting me upset, I would not have put the "lol" or written "its driving me nuts". The tone would have been a little more serious - dont you think?
Now deep breaths... you can get through this.

I think I used to think that too ...come to think of it.... wayyy back in the day. Paypal does seem to give that impression if you dont read much about it and are new to it.
Soo many of them do it for the $1.50 items I have, and no so much for the more expensive items, even buyers with 1000+ feedback. I like to do things straight away, on the spot, so I dont have to think about it and its not taking up space in my little brain. So if I see a sale, I pack it up and send, immediately, same day. Its a bit like someone who likes to keep a house.. ultra clean. lol
I've never been much one for the clean house My place is the personification of the phrase "looks like a bomb went off in here..." 😮 But, perhaps strangely, leaving an item unpaid was an ickier feeling to me than an untidy house, so I was pretty fastidious with that.
Since those early days, though, I have gotten a little bit more casual. I do like the luxury of browsing, buying, and later making one or only a few payments at the end. It usually only takes me 1-2 hours to finalise everything if I haven't paid immediately, and I still couldn't leave a purchase unpaid for days without contacting the seller, but at the same time I kind of understand how some buyers might have got used to a longer browse / shopping session, then settling up at the end, especially if it's lots of little things.
Strangely, I have a number of buyers who buy, pay, then come back a couple of hours later, buy - pay. Once in a while it goes on for days, and because I do post ASAP after payment, I sometimes think they could have save a decent chunk of money if they accrued the purchases for combined post (have mentioned it to some of the regulars, but the buying patterns tend to remain the same o_O ).

Cheap items are the things people buy because they are cheap not because they are chomping at the bit for it. So paying is in the no big deal or hurry basket

I have had buyers come back and buy something after Ive packaged something up, but ive managed to open and repack before posting... so far.
My place is always clean.. except my desk. Not that I care if it gets messy (Im not that bad!), I just like having one less thing hanging over me or waiting to be done.
Impulsive or impetuous.. i think my mother calls it.. lol Now Now NOW!

I do try 😄 - over time, I have created pathways around the stock on my loungeroom floor, which are mostly kept debris-free. That counts, I say, because what looks like a grand, chaotic mess to everyone else, is a carefuly organised system that wouldn't work anywhere near as well if it was neatly organised (or so I insist. )

That totally counts! 😄
