pleasebeware anyone who is selling a car. I put my number in the description for anyone who had questions about the car im selling. I had a non ebay user text me stating he had seen my car on ebay and wanted to buy it at the buy it now price. He stated he wanted to pay straight away but needed my paypal name, phonenumber and email address attached to my paypal account. I have researched his name Kenneth Buckk and the type of email/text he send me. This has happened to lots of people selling cars its a scam they put money into paypal pick up item then call their bank and cancel funds going into paypal. As well as trying to get into your paypal account. BEWARE OF TEXT MESSAGES i have since removed my number and have contacted ebay and paypal

Sounds about right.

When selling a car ONLY accept cash on pickup after inspection.

Also beware of 'buyers' who are in the middle of the ocean, buying for somebody else, offer more than the BIN, want you to pay cash to the shipping agent, are not in Australia, are in Nigeria, etc

As you have no bids you can revise your listing and remove the PP option.  Accept only cash or bank cheque on pick up.
Scammers cannot deposit money into your PP account and then reverse it, but they can send very believable fake message looking like it is from PP telling you that payment was made.

This happened to me also. I never put my mobile number in my ad. People can give me their number. The buyer said he was away in the navy and was buying the car as a surprise for a priest. I never replied. Obviously an idiot.?:|
