the cash register receipt from the PO will state how it was sent and just what services you paid for.  Do you have a tracking number?

every seller pays paypal fees and part of that payment goes towards your Seller Protection, a kind of insurance that paypal will back you up providing you follow their guidelines.  you need to post with Proof of posting according to their guidelines with some form of tracking, without that, you 'go it alone' and when a problem occurs you 'll be required to refund.

selling to Italy is always dodge, they have a very poor record with their postal service, so every seller should protect their goods in the mail to the best of their ability.

well firstly it is against aust post rules to post anything with a lithium battery, so that may be the problem, it may have been confiscated by aust post.

the 'shipping' proof you need is the copy of the Registered Air Parcel Customs / insurance form.  Surely you posted it registered and fully insured? that copy of the form, handstamped by the PO is what is requried it has the tracking number on it too.

Everything to Italy should be sent by Click and send which gives proof of postage

and if its expensive it should be registered

If you declared the contents as a mobile phone it will have been nicked - sorry

yes it sure does, which is why it is almost ALWAYS best to use a paypal Seller Protection method of posting and not just x your fingers and hope for the best.
