problems with the automatic (3) free re-lists coming off the 100 free listings

Anyone else having problems with the automatic (3) free re-lists coming off the 100 free listings that started today? .

Seems to be some sort of glitch

Translation to that reponse is:

"We have stuck our heads in the sand and am waiting for the abuse from ebay sellers to pass on Thursday and then we will ignore everything that has happened over the past week and carry on in our own world of igorance."

Down to 85 now. I have had 13 items auto-relist, one manually relisted (no freebies left), and listed a single new item. Guess who's going to be sitting on zero free listings until next month. No, I am not paying $1.50 each to sell $3 and $4 games - why can't the listing price be 10% of the item or something? Of course, eBay doesn't want people listing cheap items because they don't get a big enough cut per transaction.

Upon checking the promotion that you've got, the reason why it was counted because listings that automatically or manually relist during the Promotion Period are not eligible for this promotion. It should not be relisted items.

SO FIX IT eBay !!!!!!!!

After posting some time ago that my id's did not seem to be in the eBay glitch loop - suddenly there were 24 items which auto relisted off the balance of the 100 free.

Organised a call back (saves one heck of a lot of time), explained what had happened, and also mentioned that so many others had been affected.

The person I spoke to said he would monitor my account, and if I used the balance of my 100 free and balance of 40, then the listing fees for the next 24 would be credited to my account after the 7 day listing ended.  

Asked him about if I did auto relists, and he confirmed it would be at the end of the first 7 days of each listing.

So it may pay others to get eBay to set up the same arrangement.

I have just hung up from eBay customer service AND DON'T WE ALL GET DIFFERENT ANSWERS ?

Firstly, I DID arrange a call back .... I rang last night at 6pm and still hadn't heard from them at 2 today, so rang them again !!!

I was told not to list any more items and they would be fixing it after the end of the promotion (after 17th).    ....    I find this all totally confusing.      I was told that we won't lose the free listings that have been used up, but the technical team are working on it.  (I think they should fix it and give another 100 free listings next week .... rather than fix up each individual account)

We live in hope ... 🙂

That would be the easy and logical thing to do when this is sorted, but I don't believe those two words apply to eBay.

And if anyone wants to go down the track I went, ask the eBay reps to look up what was stated to 5kazam.  IMO what is good for one is good for all in the same situation.
