I get this when I try and go to sell an item, I manage to fill in the creditials, but when I go to physically post it, I get this error. 

Is there a fix?

I don't have answers, just trying to see if there's a common pattern as (so far), I'm not having any problems relisting or using sell similar. I haven't tried a listing from scrach yet though as normally if I want to create a new listing, I just use the sell similar option to save redoing the description.

I am a store seller - but no, I don't use turbo lister 😞   I wish it was that simple.

I have tried literally EVERY way around everything and it's hit and miss at best.  I get the odd one to go through ok, but then try the same way again and it fails.  I've tried a new listing.  I've tried sell similar. What i FEEL like trying is my forehead through the monitor 😞

I am also having this problem. Started some time this morning (12/11/2014).

Happened just when I decided to do a listing spree. Typical...

Rang eBay support and was told there was some sort of error with their system and I would be contacted within 24 hours - note, they did not say it would be fixed within 24 hours. Very annoying!!

But as someone else has said you can list by going through normal process until you get to the error. Then you will find the item in drafts and you can submit listings there.

The one thing I cannot find a way to do at the moment is revise a listing. I accidentaly listed something as having a quantity of 20 when I actually only have 1 - now I CANNOT change it.

My account is set up for business.
I can re-list items fine, just not create one from scratch.

You can revise a listing if you select more than one listing to edit - then it brings up mulitples, but you only edit the one you need to change, then submit them all having made no changes to the others.

Had to work that out too as I did something similar.

Your guess is as good as mine unfortunately.  I used to get really angry, and phone them and let them know how I felt. I used to demand value for my fees and insist that they not ask me to wait two days for a response.  Now I just headbutt the monitor because they just don't care what it does to your sales/listings/business and that's the honest truth.  None of my anger or indignation ever made a difference - they do what they want when they want to do it.  It SUCKS.

You've just gotta laugh (or cry!!).  

The long awaited free listings are here, but another glitch going on, so everyone's got a problem.  Absolutely unbelievable.  

Said it before - with all the money that sellers pay in fees to eBay, you'd think it could afford a Tech team who know what they're doing. The current ones have no idea.  

Can't even fix known site problems - oh, sorry maybe that's what they were doing - fixing a problem from months ago that has now created a new one.  

I hope the Tech Team are being paid in peanuts.....

Thanks that let me make the change to the listing.

Its a worry when I am getting better support from fellow ebay sellers than dedicated eBay support staff!! 😉
