tried it.. but cancelled cos i saw a charge at the bottom of the page?
my account is eligible for the 40 free listing a month
do you get charged or is this just a glitch when listing multiple items in one go?

How many did you try to re list at the same time and also how many free listings have you got left for the remainder of the month. If your listings went over the limit then that might be the reason you were going to be charged as this has happened to me so now I only list 1 at a time.

I noticed the same thing so thought I'd risk it and see what happened, then argue it with eBay if I was actually charged. :^O
Thankfully, the submit screen says something along the lines of "fees are estimates only" and special offers and discounts may change them.
When I submitted two, showing as $3.00 in fees, the next screen cancelled them out, like this:
So, safe to list that way if you have free ones remaining. 🙂

It usually shows the costs but when you confirm it will change and show no charge if you haven't selected any additional extras. Like DG's screenshot, the costs crossed out after they are submitted.
That's how it's been showing for multiple relists for some time.
Granted it's a little confusing, but joe your so clever shouldn't faze you. He He B-)

Cherry, i still have 40 free listings for the month of may. On the last page of my unsold items there was only about 8 listings i could relist in one go, that charge i saw was a little bit confronting and was hesitant to continue.
thanx DG, Koren, i'm now confident in taking the next baby step:-p

DG, i listed 6 and got charged $4.50 (said $9.60 at first) i may have to dispute it with ebay...
but, i had a look at doing just one listing and theres no charge??
ive been shaftedX-(

and i dont know how the heck they either worked out the fees to $9.60 to start with then $4.50?
mebbe it wont process in my monthly ebay bill?
on 26-05-2013 05:46 PM
I'm sorry, I don't know why it would have done that - $9.60 would probably be based on 6 x $1.50 insertion fees and 6 x 10c for the BIN option (which is now supposed to be free, anyway), but why it cancelled out some and not others is a mystery to me. 😮 😞
The first thing to do would be check on your account, under fees, and see exactly what the charges are for, then get in touch with eBay and query them, since they should all be free if you had 40 to begin with.

had a look at my account summary and theres no increases of $4.50 to my current balance.
i mean, fees charged.. if any are updated instantaneously arent they?

I'm sorry,
not your fault :^O

of course i forgot about BIN 10c charge
(which is now supposed to be free, anyway)
to right!
no charge should show up at all
, but why it cancelled out some and not others is a mystery to me.
these little glitches are irritating, not exactly giving me any confidence in going for it
