Since when does an RSA entitle a person to sell alcohol on eBay?
When I did my RSA it was on for licenced premises.

To sell alcohol you need a licence to sell it doh. This is separate to the RSA. RSA is for the supply and consumption of alcohol by licenced operators on your premises. The premises do not have to be licenced as there are BYO restaurants etc, they don't supply alcohol, so don't need a licence, but they do need the RSA as the alcohol is being consumed on their premises.
Remember that many companies such as Dan Murphy's, Woolworths, Coles etc sell alcohol online for delivery to your home. The RSA has nothing to do with this as they cannot control who drinks that alcohol and in what quantities. (They do have to be opver 18 etc)
It the licence to sell alcohol which is required here.

I would let the seller know that they have the wrong credentials for selling liquor on ebay.
If they don't remedy the situation you can report the listing.
You may well get abuse for your trouble but I think it is the right thing to let them know before reporting.

The listing is gone

That's interesting, if you do sell alcohol on eBay, you cannot use Australia Post to deliver it. Because they don't ask for proof of age for alcohol delivery.
I assume though that they are able to carry alcohol in real life as they sell boxes for wine bottles, don't they?
Wonder what rules are in place for that re age requirements?
(I'm too lazy to google, don't need to know that badly, but if someone else knows or cares, I'd be interested in reading)

Australia Post do deliver alcohol. There's always boxes of wine waiting for collection at our local LPO.
A few years ago one of my boys won some bottles in a Johnnie Walker competition and he had to show proof of age when he collected them from the PO.
