Something has to be done about newly signed up ebayers who bid on items and dont pay. As soon as I see an ebayer with zero feedback wins my item I know it spells trouble.
A buyer bought my item over a week ago and Ive never heard from them so I filed an unpaid item dispute.
I will never understand why some ebayers bid and you dont hear from them, now I have to relist and go through the same stuff again.
Hope ebay does something about this, and its not the first time its happened.

I have had NPBs from 0 feedback buyers; from 100 feedback buyers; even a 1000+ feedback buyer.
How do you determine that somebody with 0 feedback is a NPB? I will guess that you started with approximately 0 feedback. Or is that different?
Open the case, close it when you can, relist. Simple.
There are ways to screen buyers, but you would obviously know them, so I won't insult you by pointing them out.
Just a hint - if you offer bank deposit as a payment method the buyer doesn't necessarily have to go through checkout to utilise it. Have you checked your bank? They have possibly paid.

I will double check all my settings,Im convinced I restricted the 0 feedbacks. Yes I had 0 feedback once but I was a seller and Ive been honest and pay as soon as I buy something. Thanks for everyones response 🙂

I have not found zero feedback buyers any more or less likely not to pay straight away, quite the reverse in fact. sometimes the newbies get in a bit of a tangle but an offer of help often smoothes the way and they are grateful enough to become repeat buyers. I have not yet seen any increase in the percentage of non payers who never pay, I find the vast majority pay before a dispute is closed and for the very ocassional one who doesn't even some of those get in touch a couple of weeks later asking if they can still pay and get the strike removed.
I don't look on it as any great waste of time, it only takes a few seconds to open a dispute and then close it again after the 4 days is up, that is only a few seconds moret han if the item hadn't sold in the first place so it really doesn't bother me one bit. Just part of running a business which will not run entirely smoothly where ever you are trading and whatever you are selling.

This year I have had more non-payers than ever before.
This includes a small number of new users that bid, yet did not pay or contact - as I have the unverified by phone block in place I have never really bothered me if bidders were new to ebay, however when I pulled the contact details and rang the contact numbers provided both were numbers that I was unable to achieve a connecting call on, now that concerns me.

Yes we are having trouble with 0-FB buyers as well. Not only on auction wins but buying BIN items and still never paying.
We just give them all the usual reminders and after 10-days open a case and move on.

Gee if I had bid on one or more of your items last weekend U would have been having a heart problem, as I was using my new ID with no feedback - the 3 sellers I bought from didn't seem to worry about my 0 feedback.
