sold an item the buyer has payed through paypal but its not in my paypal account

Sold an item the buyer has followd links on invoce i sent and payed through paypal,his account says hes payed and the money is in my account but my account indicates its still pending and no sighn of it in my paypal.He now wants it posted out but i havnt had payment,been three days now ,whats gone wrong?

is it showing as pending? ie an eCheque?

The other common reason is that you have made a typo in the Paypal email address in your listing.

Do a dummy sell similar and check your Paypal address. You can cancel as soon as you check, but this is the best way to check.

Also, has your Paypal account been upgraded to accept payments? It will be pending for that reason, too, if not done. To upgrade, there is a link in your Paypal account.

you probably have, but just a thought for other sellers who might read this thread, as a lot of newer sellers don't realise this.

I only discovered this a little while ago, but you can actually mouse-over the $ symbol next to the item in My eBay and it will show the email address the payment was sent to, so a bit easier. 🙂

really? i do that and i get "Paid with Paypal on xx-xx-xxxx" x's being the date paid

maybe thats a selling manager pro thing?

Must be something else, as definitely not a selling manager feature - I don't have either version of that on this ID, and it appears if I hover over the dollar symbol on both IDs in All Selling view (using Chrome and Firefox). I get the date as well, but the email address is in brackets after that.

Sounds like you're trying to check on your Purchased Items as that only gives you the date you paid. Try doing the same thing on a sold item and it should give you the email address.
