i have a previous buyer selling one of my reborns that was purchased from me back in march this year. she has listed it as a NEW item and date of birth as december 2012 and though she has not claimed to have made it she has presented it in such a way on a template so that it appears she is the artist. i have sent her an email telling her that her listing is fraudulent and that i would report her if she did not remove it or adjust her listing. i intend to do this tomorrow if i do not see any changes or response from her but wanted to know ...does ebay block them if they see that they have posted a dishonest listing. am thinking of naming and shaming her by posting her item number and ebay id here as well as a warning to others?? she paid $350 for her, has had her for 9 months. listed her as new and is asking for $525 on buy it now +$35 postage for a used item. maybe i should be flattered??? lol anyone else had this happen?

If it has never been out of the box....it is not used. ๐
Let it go.

I'm still curious as to why neither the OP or the buyer left each other feedback for this doll.
Don't think I'm going to get an answer for some strange reason.

to alanawent,
you do not know me so your comment is irrelevant. i do not profess to be a 'great artist' but i have been paid quite well for my art work in commercial and private arenas. (i am not just a doll artist) have 30 years experience in all forms of art and have taught it as well. you'd to well to think before you speak and to keep your personal views and comments to yourself. this forum is not intended for people like you who have no intention of providing anything intelligent of helpful. if you want to denigrate others with ignorant comments go 'twitter' a while..you will be in good company.

Westernstarr your work is beautiful and you are an artist despite what some have been so rude to say on this thread. Reborn dolls are actually a big deal not everyone understands them but they dont have a right to hijack this thread with their irrelevant opinions. Just ignore them. I would like to see them actually attempt such an art, oh and then see what they say when someone insinuates the work is there own.

thank you for your kind comments and for understanding what the post was about...seems there are some that get themselves bogged down with nitpicking irrelevant details and can not answer a simple basic question without thinking we want to hear their 'opinions'. it is very nice of you to take the time to email. hope you have a super week and a wonderful christmas. ๐
