noticed in the last 4 years that aussie stamps wont stick onto my parcels, letters, padded bags etc..much worst now than ever..i have to place pva glue myself so they stick.the last 3 boxes of 100 stamps just about had no self glue on them.
like to know who the hell is responsible for quality assurance at the stamp factory cause they are NOT up to standards.
PS..if its au post that is responsible, i can understand that..

I found the stamsp will not stick to recycled brown envelopes - I'm also a sticky tape person.

We have been experiencing this over the past 3-4 months. Lots of fines because they are falling off.
We changed envelopes away from the brown recycled ones and that seemed to improve it a bit.
We changed to the larger profile self-adhesive stamps in the books of 200x (not the rolls).
These are much better but only if you moistem them first. Yes... they are supposed to self stick but a little water makes it better.
Aust Post will not acknowledge there is a problem, not at our local PO or over the phone. So now we are seeing this happen about 1 in 250 or so envelopes we send. We seem to have no choice but to just suck-it-up.

yep,got fines from au post cause they said i didnt put stamps on the padded bags worth $1.20..oh yes i did mr au post..put glue that works and this wont happen and i wont get fines..but no,they DONT care at all..would of been 2 months ago i rang au post stating this prob and i said ill put a bit of sticky tape onto the stamps..lol,they didnt like that lol...they recon stamps cant be canceled if they have sticky tape on them..
so mr au post, why dont you FIX this problem ???? just cant beleive we are in 2013 not 1800 and yet we have this prob..just a joke in my books...
PS..i just opened (yesterday) a new box of 100 "farming" stamps and you guessed it..same rubbish glue on them..sigh sigh sigh..

I use stamps all the time rolls of 100 or 200 mostly. I use them with AP tough bags and AP padded envelopes and Coles normal envelopes and I've never had a problem. Perhaps it's the stationary you are using not the stamps?
Stationery!! not stationary

Yeah!!!
I have found the sticker style stamps do not stay adhered to my padded envelopes... but the type you lick or wet the back of, do stay stuck on.
