i used to love going through the want it now section, havent looked at them for a very long time and realised the other day that it is no longer around, and there is the new "ebay wish list" is there a section or place where you can see peoples wishlists, or find what people are after? as it makes it easier to sell when you know what people want.
with the ebay wish list, you can only seem to create your own, not view other peoples.

Yes I miss "Want It Now" too, It was a great place to look at & post to.
I don't think you can see anybodys wish list anywhere. It must be connected somehow, because sometimes I list and it sells straight away. I dont actually use my own.

Wish lists can be made public, and shared on other sites. You can search for individual member's lists by name, member ID or email address.
I made my Wish list public just a minute ago but when I went to look at it, it displayed my full name (eg 'Jane Doe's Wish List), so I switched it back to private. I guess it's kind of like a registry, where people name all the gifts they want for their wedding etc from a certain store - you wouldn't be much interested in the list unless you knew the person, and I don't know if Wish Lists are aggregated in any way for statistical purposes (at least, they probably are but I don't know if the stats are made public).
On the US site, they have a few different buttons to the Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter ones that we have now. Right under the item title is Like, Want, Have buttons, which add items to a Favourites list and also displays on individual listings how many people have clicked each one (but you can't see which members).
