what if my buyer doesn't pay for postage?

My buyer has paid the item price but not the postage.

Am I within my rights to ask for a second transfer of funds?

I would politely tell the buyer. The price with postage is what was agreed on, so it is only fair for the buyer who made the error to pay you what is owed.

If the postage was in the listing then yes you have every right to ask for and receive postage before sending the item. If however you had no postage in the listing then you cannot add it later or expect your buyer to pay it.

Sounds to me like the postage was not in the listing, the buyer can not short pay an invoice, so if it did not automatically show as part of the payment required it was not listed in the first place.

Did you offer local pick up as an option and has the buyer paid for that option.  If they have ask them when they are picking it up ?

Looked at listings and most seemed small (perfume etc), but a good point, I had not considered if it was a pick up item.
