when other sellers buy your items and then don't pay for them. What can I do?

I sell jewellery. I am having other sellers buy up my product and then not pay. Example: Yesterday one person bought all I had in a particular line of jewellery. 5 dfferent items and took the multiple amounts as well. eg. earrings x 5, they take off the five. They are removing all my things. They start a new email account and then a new ebay account there feedback is zero and that is how I tell. They never pay and it doesn't matter re bad feedback from ebay.  Because these are the last of those lines I cannot relist for ages and of course we have already paid our fees. This has happened to me approximately 5 times in the last 2 months. Is there anything we can do? Hope you can understand what I have just written. Thank you in anticipation. Natalie

I had a buyer a month or so ago who bought, then 2 days later asked to cancel as she couldn't afford to pay it (a $8 item with $8 postage). I think it was purely change of mind as she had purchased other items after mine and she continued to buy after she contacted me.

I said that I would cancel by using the unpaid item dispute and that she didn't need to do anything other than ignoring the messages from eBay about paying. I said that by doing it that way, I can get my fees back for the transaction. I'm surprised she agreed to it as I noticed that she had some items listed for sale and she had nearly 1,000 feedback, so not a new buyer by any stretch of the imagination.

I opened and closed the case without any hassles. I thought she may have contacted eBay to have the strike removed, but she didn't (the message under the transaction changes when they've had the strike removed and it also removes the blue strike line from the feedback icon.....but they are still blocked from leaving feedback).

I've only used the cancellation option 4 times and that was well before any of the current rules and dramas. Each time I would send the buyer a message saying that they needed to accept the cancellation or the transaction would remain valid. They all accepted within 15 minutes of it being sent.

It would have to be extreme circumstances for me to use that option now. Thankfully, I rarely have anyone wanting to cancel.

Can I open a NPB once the cancellation time elapses (tomorrow will be day 10) ?

You can also report the member for malicious bidding activity.

I don't think eBay are particularly fond of buyers who do this sort of thing.

Buyers can do what they like. They are a protected species and can do no wrong. Reporting a buyer is a waste of time and effort.
