Hi Michael..it's nothing to do with G20..as of Nov 1st they brought in yet more new rules..we just spent an hour yesterday with paypal over the same thing. It would appear all new accounts 90 days or younger, unless they provide tracking, will be going thru this same thing. Also they were very quick to point the blame at e bay suprise suprise. It would appear a lot of folks are going thru the same thing. We have another 30 days on our new account to get past this so told them we plan on calling EVERYTIME they do this. They weren't to happy to hear that but stiff s*** get over it I say.

It is nothing to do with your sales or your service, it is a new Policy that eBay introduced as part of the Money Back Guarantee.
Make sure you upload tracking info or mark the item as posted on eBay.

A lot of eBay policies make no sense.
You can get funds released quicker if you mark the item as Sent in eBay. It does not have to have tracking.
From the link above
Based on your postage method and information you provide us, funds that are temporarily placed on hold should be available:
- 3 days after we can confirm the order was delivered when you provide tracking information automatically through buying and printing your postage on eBay.
- 7 days after your latest estimated delivery date when you manually upload tracking information or mark the item as posted in My eBay.
- 21 days after your buyer pays if you don't upload tracking and you don't mark your item as sent in My eBay.

People will buy a $7 DVD if the postage is $1.40 but they baulk at paying $4.90, which is the minimum cost for a large letter if you want some form of tracking or proof of delivery. And the dearer the postage, the bigger eBay's cut becomes, which makes low-priced items even more uneconomical to sell.
