why is my hand sanitiser ad blocked by ebay when we're a legitimate business & not price gouging

It seems eBay is trying to stop price gouging for protective masks and sanitising products. But how does a legitimate business that is charging normal prices and has 100% buyer feed-back from previous business get it's listing allowed?  There are plenty of other companies selling the same type of products on eBay.

So you applied to eBay for permission to list the product and were approved but are still being blocked?

I assume you are not connected to the oter ID which just posted a near identical question?

No. I have read all suggested posts, but can't find instructions as to how to apply for approval to seel our quality, fairly-priced sanitising products.  I would appreciate any help as to how to do this.

There is some mention of the restrictions down the page. Not sure if there is links for those that want to get approval to sell but that is where I would start.

Sadly nothing there. I have searched "how to get approval to seel by eBay" no result. They don't make it the slightest bit easy for the seller, who they force to self-serve.

You can't get approval. Doesn't matter whether you're legitimate seller or not.

Read my reply to a similar post today, including the link I put.

Here is the info, you had to follow a few links to find it though. Just make sure you have everything correct when you email. I would include an ABN as well.

Sellers that are not approved or eligible for listing the above items, will find their listings blocked or removed. Further attempts to list these items may result in account suspension.

If you have stock of the above items and want to list them on the platform, email us at eventspriority@ebay.com with your store name and details about how your items are sourced. Keep in mind that approval to list is at eBay’s absolute discretion and your account standing will be one of the factors considered by eBay in making its determination. You will be notified of the outcome by e-mail.

If you are approved, you will still be required to comply with all of eBay’s standard policies and procedures, including those specified on this page.

That will be the stumbling block for stig I reckon, since they only have 1 feedback score for selling.
