I received a nice automatically generated your item has been posted from an ebay us buy.
I wonder if its possible in the aus system to set it up to say similar.

it said hello ....
thank you for your purchase of ......
it has been posted .....
blah blah... have a wonderful day....
ok it doesn't need to have in all the form fills but it was so personable I thought it was a lovely touch. is it possible to "easily" set this up in our settings or only with certain manager tools.
imagine if fred got a thank you for his diamond necklace and sally got a thanks for her gumboots but still...

I just checked the options on this ID (I was looking at communication options via my selling ID beforehand), and ditto - I can only add a custom message to the checkout email on this one. I wonder if it's because I customised auto-emails on the other ID before they brought in this particular system?

Personalised emails can be done through the ebay Singapore site. You can set up a variety of different emails on that site.

digital / grevilleas... when sending a parcel over the counter your tracking id is the article no. which is issued on the stamp label sticker... if you don't keep the receipt. alternatively those on the satchel. If you use your own stamps but lodge over the counter just ask for a free parcel tracking no. it was introduced several months ago and I did ring customer service to check as one post office had no idea and said they only had the registered post no.s you had to pay for which was wrong. AP customer service confirmed it for me (not letters tho)

I know, my point was that not all parcels have tracking, because AP business account holders who have negotiated contract parcel rates do not get any form of tracking on their parcels as standard.
