How do I clear "UNANSWERED QUESTION" red flag.

As a seller with a shop and listings which don't really end, is there a way to clear the "UNANSWERED QUESTION" red flag on messages that don't require a reply, most of the time I just say "thank you" and explain about the red flag thing but it wastes a lot of time and I think it may even be annoying to some customers who have an extreme politeness compulsion.

In your My eBay under selling reminders it will tell you how many unanswered questions you have.

Click on that link and it will bring up only the items which have unanswered questions. In the drop down box on the right hand side there is an option to mark the question as answered.
 

Click on mark question as answered and that will remove the unanswered question red flag.
