I expect the same reason as the dozen other threads already here about it
Responders here are simply members exactly like you, we can't tell you why any better than you can tell us
You could try contacting eBay and asking them, but I very much doubt they will acknowledge there is an issue
OR they will say they will raise it with tech (meaning they won't)
