I can't get the eBay app to work on my iPad. I've been trying for two days to open the app

I've had no problem opening and using the app on my iPad for two years. Now when I open the app I get a message saying " this version has expired please update" I click on the update date and the whole app closes. I deleted the old app when to the App Store and uploaded a new version and the exact same thing happens. What s wrong with the app.

I have exactly the same problem. Was working fine then problem began a few days ago. I deleted the old app and tried again. Same problem but a couple of times it stated this update app is not available in Australia.
