Watch list page improvement

Hi,

How about a "Delete" button at the bottom of the Watch List page? You scroll down the page, choosing all the items you want to delete, and then you have to scroll all the way to the top to hit the Delete Button. That is lame, and lazy on the developers.

What? It takes a few minutes to put in a Delete Button at the bottom, and provides greater convenience to the thousands who do the process every day.

Cheers,

Very easy solution, start at the BOTTOM of the page and scroll up marking as you go, then the delete button's right there for you.......

@frankandlindy .

Thnx for tour thoughts but I thought at least a person from the development would have addressed it.

I realise that you think that a person from development (I assume you mean from IT/website maintenance) would address your comment, but this is a public board (Community Discussion Board) and unfortunately eBay (incl. its Technical Team) don’t come here.

There’s no direct way to contact eBay IT. It may sound harsh and counterintuitive, but eBay don’t care about what its users find convenient or useful in its website design or function. (Of course they would if it affected their bottom line.)

eBay’s Unsolicited idea submissions policy page delicately hints at their stance:

At eBay, we appreciate comments from our members on our products and services. But we have a long-standing policy of not accepting unsolicited suggestions, ideas, or proposals.

(Translation: we actually don’t appreciate members’ unsolicited comments or feedback.)

What happens if I send a suggestion to eBay?

We appreciate your input, but we can't respond to suggestions that are sent to eBay.❞

(Translation: Put your input where the sun doesn’t shine.)

And so on.

If you still have a burning desire to tell eBay about the ease and simplicity and desirability of a “Delete” button at the bottom of the Watch list, use the link below.

It has been said before that for other issues you have to click on the links on the left in the Summary (for example the purchase history if you want to see feedback left or received).

BUT for this particular issue you have to tick the items you want to delete from the watchlist on the Summary page, and there will be a delete button at the bottom. If you click on the link on the left, the button will be at the top of the watched items page.

There is not much logic in how the website is organized (if any at all), so you have to experiment yourself.

You'd need to ask eBay

They don't actually want to hear any feedback about stuff, but posting on the member to member forum won't be seen by eBay as they do not read here to see what people post/ask/suggest
