What is ebay's direct complaints phone number?

I want to submit a formal compaint to ebay about the way ebay manages buying.
I committed to buying an item, but only after I committed to buying it ebay told me they cannot ship it.

This is a problem in the ebay purchase process that must be fixed.

were you buying an item from the USA or UK that uses Global Shipping Program as the shipping method?

I ask this as Pitney Bowes, who run the GSP, are known to refuse to ship certain items to Australia on the basis that they claim they are restricted items.

Motor parts that are 2nd hand can be refused. In a puzzling decision, PB have been known to refuse to ship a guitar to Australia.

Anything that might be seen as a weapon won't be sent.  This even includes butter knives.

If you didn't buy from a seller using GSP then I can't offer any advice, other than to say "move on, keep on looking".

Cheers

what is the item number?

does seller use couriers only?

do you have a PO box?

There could be many reasons.....eBay Au does not have a phone number, only HELP at top of page and live chat with someone who just reads from a script......so you're better off asking here

eBay do not sell anything

Did you read the listing prior to buying?

What can't the seller (who is not eBay) ship it?

Is it a freight only item?

Something restricted in your state (seeds, plants etc)

Did it say anything about contacting the seller prior to buying?

As mentioned, there is no 'complaints number'

There is no "direct complaints phone number".

You can use Help & Contact on any page.

eBay do not ship items so I doubt it was their decision not to ship.

Why not contact the seller to find out why the item was not shipped?

You may also wish to read the eBay Money Back Guarantee on nearly every listing.

Or come back here & provide details of what happened.

There is nothing to fix... I suspect pilot error.

Have you actually paid for the item ?

Is it International Shipping ?

Or a message "Seller does not  ship to your location" ?

Has eBay removed the listing ?

If you post the item number here, not the seller's name, you'll be given better advice than contacting eBay Help

101% agree!!!
