I have just checked an item I paid for just over a month ago for a "pre-release DVD" that I paid over $40 for. and the item has been removed by eBay. yet my transaction had already happened. so I'm just wondering whether I will be getting the item I paid for or if I will be getting my money back ? contacting the seller isn't an option because I can't if the item isn't there.

If you paid by paypal less than 45 days ago just go to the Resolution Centre in paypal and open a dispute.  Escalate to a claim as soon as the system will let you and you should have your money back in 10 days or so.

 

If you paid by any other method you have lost your money I'm afraid.
