Introduction from a newbie

Hi,

I thought I'd introduce myself as I have been reading all the "Book" threads for a while now!

I've enjoyed all the knowledge you share and look forward to taking part...

I wish that we could auction books (as part of our store free listings) in the "book/magazine" category.

I know you can list free auctions in the collectables section but it doesn't really help us booksellers does it!

Any thoughts?

Kate

Re: Introduction from a newbie

Hi Kate,  I love it too, combining my passion / obsession with books.

Yes that would be a dream to list auctions for free.  But I guess the 5cent listing we get is fantastic, otherwise I would have very limited books listed in Buy It Now.

So one counteracts the other.

I limit my auctions to a dozen or so a month.  Linda

Hi Linda you are right!

I should look at the cup half full ๐Ÿ˜‰ 5 cent auctions are great.

I'll have to work out a auction budget for myself too...

(trouble is sticking to it, LOL)

All of mine are BIN. Even the free listings on my subsidiary IDs. I'm not game to start an auction at less than I'm prepared to accept, which is usually my BIN.

Yes I can understand that! I have sold a few books a little too cheaply in the past and I still pine for them, LOL. (Then again I am much too attached to my stock, I should be far more professional about the whole thing...) You have some lovely items straybooksoz!

Going to get a cup of tea and have some more fun browsing in your shop! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks Dave ๐Ÿ™‚

Where do I start...I love your stock!

Ian Fleming Thunderball 1st Ed (drool drool) & I LOVE Ginger Mick, C J Dennis 1916

You have some really exciting pieces there.

I could look all day, but I have to get some of this stock (looming over me) listed today or I will feel too guilty.

I LOVE discovering, buying, reading, going to auctions etc, but I hate listing, LOL.
